Mark Wynne-Jones, Fund Manager

Mark joined Cantab in 2019 and is the fund manager for the VT Cantab Sustainable Global Equity Fund.

Mark has over 25 years’ experience in equity research and fund management, and previously managed Ninety One’s Global Special Situations and American Franchise funds. Prior to this he worked at UBS Wealth Management and Cavendish Asset Management. Mark studied at the London School of Economics and London Business School, and is a member of the CFA Institute and CAIA Association.

David Elton, Partner

David is a partner at Castlefield and joined the team in 2011 after graduating with a first class degree in Accounting & Finance. David manages the Castlefield Sustainable UK Smaller Companies Fund and Castlefield’s AIM IHT portfolio service.

He is a charter holder (Chartered Financial Analyst) of the CFA Institute, as well as a holder of the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate and CISI Investment Advice Diploma. He is also a member of both the CFA UK Institute and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Sean Peche, Portfolio Manager

Sean is a Value investor and has managed Ranmore Global Equity Fund since its inception in 2008. Sean scours global markets for mispriced shares which trade at valuations which suggest a margin of safety should the investment thesis not play out. An important part of the process is to avoid overvalued businesses.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1996, Sean spent two years at Old Mutual Asset Management (South Africa) as an equity analyst, before joining Decillion Capital as one of its founding members and co-managed the successful BigRock Fund, a South African based hedge fund. In 2001, he relocated to London with Decillion Fund Management and co-managed a US/European hedge Fund. Sean spent five years at London-based Orbis Investment Advisory, before leaving in 2008 to establish Ranmore Fund Management Ltd.
