Ken Wotton, Managing Director, Public Equity
Ken is Managing Director, Public Equity, and leads the investment team managing public equity investments. He is lead manager for the WS Gresham House UK Smaller Companies Fund.
Ken graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford, before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He was an equity research analyst with Commerzbank and then Evolution Securities prior to spending the past 12 years as a Fund Manager at Livingbridge and now Gresham House specialising in smaller companies.
Matthew Beddall, CEO and Fund Manager
Matthew worked at Winton for 17 years, eight of which he served as Chief Investment Officer. As CIO, he had responsibility for overseeing the firm’s investment activities, including the flagship Winton Futures Fund. During his tenure, Winton grew to have $32 billion in assets making it one of the largest hedge funds in Europe. He also sat on the Board as a Director, and on the Executive Committee.
Matthew previously graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics. His extensive professional experience has given him a strong set of investment beliefs, all of which he applies to his own money within the WS Havelock Global Select Fund.
Rob Burnett, Fund Manager
Rob managed the Neptune European Opportunities Fund from 2005 to 2018. He was also head of analysis of the global financials sector, specialising in researching banks. Prior to running the European Opportunities Fund he managed the Neptune Japan Opportunities Fund. He studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford.
